We are beginning our vacation adventure. Our animals are content and being well taken care of. Our home is safe and secure thanks to our great neighbors. The highway to the city was in great winter travelling condition. We are staying in a brand new hotel with free shuttle service to the airport. I have my laptop with me. The car is plugged in. The pizza delivery person will be here soon. And we are getting excited. Very excited!
I think that maybe the anticipation is the funnest part of the holiday. We've never been to this destination. We are wondering what it will be like where we're going. Right now, the tv in our hotel room is on, and the program setting is where we'll be tomorrow night. I'm looking at the scenery and trying to imagine us being there! I am really looking forward to spending an entire week with my dear family. I wonder what we'll be doing 48 hours from now. I can imagine what we might be doing, but that doesn't mean we will be doing that. We might be doing something completely different!
We might be at our destination then, waiting for pizza! I doubt it though! Lobster will be more like it!
Too funny..."the car is plugged in"...we NEVER have to do that here! I suppose no one has to do that where you are going either. :)
