Two Blogs in One Day

I hadn't planned on blogging again today, but as I was sitting beside my laptop, folding laundry, I was reminded of the people for whom I do laundry for, and was thankful.  Then I remembered that this was the weekend and therefore time for my weekly Thankfulness Report!

So, on this weekend, as I reflect on the past week, I am adding to my list of things to be thankful for:

31. a chat on the phone with my good friend, Carla! Carla lives in New York.  She has the most beautiful soprano voice that I have ever heard.  And Carla - if you are reading this - I'm still praying....
32. my conversation with my dear friend Heather. Heather has been my dear dear friend since we met at LCBI, back in September of 1979. She would appreciate your prayers too, I know. Pray for comfort for her ~ her father recently passed away.
33. The opportunities to pray for my friends, knowing that God hears my prayers.
34. 17 blessed years with my Sweetheart.
35. Lawrence Welk and the opportunity to go to the Lawrence Welk show last night.
36. Boston Pizza - I wish they had rewards for frequent guests!
37. I am thankful that my awful cold disappeared so quickly.
38.  I am thankful for the people who have been praying for my health.
39. I am thankful for the warmer temperatures we have been enjoying the past few days.
40. I am thankful for the excellent grips on my winter boots.

My list is small,but my gratefulness is huge!  And in the words of the Lutheran Liturgy - 'Thanks be to God'!
