Up to 50!

At the end of this blog I will be at the 50th thankful item in my thankfulness journey. I could easily surpass #50, but I will stick to 10 more items to add! And it's not even the weekend...
So, on this first week in March, 2011 I am thankful for:

41. my toaster oven. I can fit small casseroles, pies, small pizzas, baked potatoes in it. Pretty handy when I still don't have use of my oven!
42. frozen lasagnas that fit in my toaster oven!
43.my 2 burner hot pad that I just bought. Since I can't use my stove top, I thought this would come in very handy for boiling pasta, potatoes, cooking pudding, making omelets...
44. the new driver in the family! What a blessing to have another driver in the family. He came to the rescue today when he was able to pick his sister up at the doctor's!
45.My dear daughter. She is a joy.  And...
46. My sweetheart. He took such good care of me yesterday when I was suffering miserably with a headache.
47.Advil and caffeine - the combination of the 2 usually helps my headaches..
48. Our family doctor - we are blessed to have a great doctor.  And thankful that he was able to see DD today on short notice!
49. Antibiotics - and the accessibility to health care
50. the great family vacation that we just had!

In everything give thanks, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus - 1 Thessalonians 5:18

  1. Another wonderful list Heather! So sorry for your recent health struggles...nasty! I find coffee helps with headaches too...interesting hey? How lovely your attitude is for the lack of oven/stove...what a blessing to have those *temporary* helpers to get you through. How quickly we become dependant on our large appliances! And...antibiotics? Don't forget to replenish with probiotics after your course of treatment is over....for at least as long as you took the anibiotics.

    With Love,
    Camille

  2. Thanks Camille! The coffee didn't work that time - it made me too nauseaus. But Diet Pepsi came to the rescue with the Advil!
    Have a great week!
    Love,
    Heather
